A company director with 21 years board level experience in a £1.5 billion turnover UK subsidiary of a £3 billion turnover European distribution and manufacturing business. Experience of implementing IT systems in UK, USA, Germany, Poland and Czech Republic. A natural leader with experience in IT, Logistics and Purchasing. Excellent negotiating, leadership and problem solving skills.
Wade Tovey MBE
Wade is a qualified social worker and teacher, and has worked in higher education for some 22 years. He recently retired as Director of EPICC (Enhancing Practice and Innovation Centre for Care) and Assistant Dean Enterprise. He was also Manager (part time) of the Tees Valley Alliance (a membership organisation of over 400 care employers), which he founded in 2003. He has been heavily involved in the care sector for many years and represents the sector in different regional and national organisations.
Ken has held many senior posts over his career most notably as FD at Lex Service Group and Director at HFS - Esso Petroleum Distribution. He then spent 10 years as Business Development Manager at HBP plc where he specialised in ePOS, Accounting Software & Internet systems. Most recently he has been running his own business, KERN Systems Ltd specialising in business apps. Ken has over 40 years experience in IT and Finance.
